If you haven’t already marked your calendars, grab a pen (or tell Alexa) to take note. Move-in begins at 9:00am on August 30, 2024. When you arrive at Ion Lincoln Park for move-in, please follow the signs to check in and pick up the keys to your new home. Street parking is limited, so please check street signs to avoid any pesky fines!

If you want to avoid late charges (and who doesn’t?), you’ll want to make sure that your first installment is paid by August 1, 2024, prior to picking up your keys and your second installment is due October 1st, 2024. Late charges will apply unless we have received the first installment payment within the two-day grace period (by August 3, 2024). Checks or money orders should be made payable to Ion Lincoln Park and can be mailed or brought directly to our office.

You can also pay online through the resident portal using a debit card, credit card or electronic checking transfer, or by automatic recurring charge to your debit card, credit card or bank account. There are no fees when paying from your bank account or by check. On move in day, you can only pay online or with certified funds.


Nothing ruins move-in faster than missing paperwork (trust us). If you haven’t done so already, please submit your guarantor form. We’ll need to approve this before you’re able to move-in. Alternately, you will be required to prepay the final two installments in advance in order to move in, as described in your Housing Agreement.


Good news is that electricity, water and Internet are already set up for you. The flat fee to cover your utilities is $99 and already billed with each installment, so no need to stress, the lights will be on.


It’s probably not something you normally think about, but you are required to have at least $100,000 of liability protection by the time you move in, and throughout your stay with us. This doesn’t cost much, and is designed to protect you if you accidentally cause a fire or flood. As unlikely as that sounds, if something happens, you’ll be very glad to have it. How easy have we made it to take care of this requirement? You don’t have to do anything at all; we’ll automatically charge your account $15 per installment, waive the requirement to provide separate insurance, and buy our own insurance to cover the same risks. If you have your own liability insurance and don’t want to be charged for this, please upload your insurance certificate and we’ll let you know right away if it meets the requirements. By now you’ve figured out there’s always a way to beat the line. And if you haven’t…well, just read below and thank us later.

Click here for the resident portal link and register online. From here, you’ll want to make sure you can answer yes to each of the questions below:

  • Did you make your first installment payment?
  • Did you enter your vehicle information (if applicable)?
  • Did you sign any pending documents?

If you answered yes to all of the above, you’re one step closer to your new views. Besides that, all you need to bring with you is a valid photo ID (and an appetite—we’ll have snacks waiting for you).

The garage will be open for express check in only. Want access? Make sure to submit financial backing, first month’s rent and any pending documents. Residents will have a 30 minutes time limit to unload.

What you take with you matters. To show you how glad we are that you’re here, we’ve put together a master packing list for you. You’ll find everything you need. And then some.

  • Laundry detergent (we have complimentary laundry on the first floor!)

  • Ethernet cable is optional (WiFi provided)

  • Cookware and dishes (pots, pans, glasses, silverware)

You’ll want to spend some time getting familiar with the Community Policies here. We like them, but then again, we wrote them. We can also print them out for you if you’re really into that kind of thing.
